Just a quick post to let you know that my review of Tess Gerritsen's The Keepsake is up on Curled Up With a Good Book. This is yet another winner by Gerritsen, who's quickly becoming one of my favourite authors (and not just because I actually got an email from her). She writes thrillers like nobody's business, and while there are a few characterization annoyances (Maura Isles is much too emotional, but that's just a pet peeve since she's been that way from Day 1 and will never change), these books keep me riveted from beginning to end.
You may recall (though probably not) that this was the book I was trying to read when I was out and about while reading the extremely heavy Europe Between the Oceans at home, yet I kept being drawn back to Gerritsen. I was glad when I finished it, because then I could finish my history book.
Anyway, read the review for the full story, but bottom line is that I loved it.

I finally read The Surgeon! At your recommendation, of course. Loved it and will be actively seeking out more of her books. Long live the Bloody Knife!!
ReplyDeleteFinally! A comment on one of my book reviews. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked "The Surgeon," Sue. The rest of Gerritsen's books are just as good. Some weaker than others, but all of them worth reading.
Have you read Iles' latest book yet? The Devil's Punchbowl?
