How to have a bad Valentine's Day

You know those public "Will you marry me" proposals that take place at various venues?  The woman always acts so surprised and then gives the guy a tearful "yes" and they kiss?

This just goes to show that you really should be sure of what the answer will be before you try and pull it off, kind of like how lawyers shouldn't ask anything of a witness that they don't really have the answer to.

Either that, or make sure that she won't be so embarrassed that even if the answer is "yes," she'll be pissed off at you for the rest of your life.

  1. Poor guy! I wonder if he ever predicted such an outcome.

  2. He was probably pretty sure that it wouldn't turn out quite that way.

Shame on him for making sure she would be receptive (both to the proposal as well as the way he did it) and shame on her for publicly humiliating him. She could have just smiled, kissed him on camera, and whispered "I'll kill you later."

  3. Dang, did they have to loop it that many times on the video?! I loved, most of all, your blog title - had me laughing immediately! Then your "I'll kill you later." follow up comment topped it off. Still laughing!

  4. Hey Dawn

Yeah, I'm not sure why they looped it 3 times. That was a bit overkill.

I'm glad you found my way of presenting it hilarious though. I love making my readers laugh. :)

And just realized I left out a "not" in that comment too ("Shame on him for *not* making sure she would be receptive...")

    Thanks, Dawn!

  5. Wow if a guy proposed to me at a Patriots game, he'd have a guaranteed YES! lol. Have you seen the prank proposal? That one is really messed up! If you haven't seen it, here is the link:
