New iPhone Security Issue?

According to Geek.com, a couple of security researchers are going to announce today a serious security issue in the SMS (text messaging) system for the iPhone. They claim that it "has the capability of 'hijacking every iPhone in the world.'" From the article:

According to Forbes, if you receive a text message on your iPhone any time after this afternoon containing only a single square character, your iPhone should be turned off. Quickly.
Since I've had some iPhone traffic to this blog, I thought I would pass this around.

The article also mentions that there are similar security issues on Windows Mobile and Google Android.
