More rat pics!

Honestly, I'm surprised my cousin hasn't been badgering more before this, but I just realized that I've been horribly remiss in responding to one of the few ongoing requests I have for this blog:  pictures of our rats.  Thus, today I shall rectify that.  Yes, I'm sure my blog traffic will plummet (though it can't get much worse than it has been the last couple of days), but I don't want it getting around that I don't come through on my promises.

So, Karen, this is for you.  Sorry I've taken so long to do more.

The first picture is of Gertrude & Maude, two hairless rats that are, sadly, no longer with us.  However, this pic really shows not just their personality, but just how social these creatures are.

They certainly love to groom each other, don't they?

And, of course, they love to eat!  Here's one of them (we could never tell them apart) having a snack on the wife's lap.
