Ours is very tiny. Has always been tiny, but now she's getting smaller.
She was never a lap cat, though. Over the last few months, she's started walking on me when I sit in the chair, but she wouldn't rest. The night I took this picture, she actually curled up and lay down in my lap. She went to sleep on my lap!
I know that's not abnormal for cats, but it's weird for *our* cat.
My cat is the same way. She doesn't come on our laps or let us hold her for too long. She's only 2 years old though. We had another one that we unfortunately had to give away. She was much older but loved being on our laps & was, what I would call, "more loving." Well I guess seeing that yours is beginning to do normal cat stuff is giving me hope that mine will start doing these things as she gets older.
She missed you!

I should add the picture of her *laying* there!
ReplyDeleteAww what a cute cat. :) Mine is multi-colored like that too, but she's much lighter.

ReplyDeleteI hope yours does it long before ours did. Ours is 15 years old and probably won't be with us too much longer. A year or two at most.
