The Hurtin' Life

We got a new loveseat on Craigslist yesterday. Getting the old chair (which was just slightly smaller than this loveseat, believe it or not) out of the apartment & into the alley was a chore in itself.

Anyway, one concern was whether the cat would be upset with getting rid of "her" chair. The chair was getting uncomfortable and definitely had to go.

So, do you think she's upset?

  1. Looks like she's taken it over. Take a picture of just the chair so we can see what it looks like.

  2. Hi Dave!

Your cat will miss the old chair just as all animals miss things they are comfortable around, but since you replaced it with one that is hopefully in the same spot, the cat will get accustomed to it rather quickly. Most cats adapt themselves to new surroundings quicker than you will realize.

    Happy trails!

  3. I'll think about it, Mom. :)

lilBunny: I do know that cats are generally pretty adaptable. But our cat is old and crazy, so there's always some doubt. LOL

  5. We're not changing anything else, don't worry!

With any luck, we won't be doing any major changes for a *long* while.
